मैं डॉ.मीनाक्षी आर्य ,स्त्री एवं प्रसूति रोग विशेषज्ञ वर्तमान में इंदौर में प्रेक्टिसरत हूँ। मैं करीब 3 वर्ष से एडी में दर्द से बहुत परेशान थी। सुबह दिन की शुरुआत खड़े होते ही दर्द से होती जो की सोने तक लगातार चलता। जाँच पर पता चला की यह प्लान्टर फ़ेशाऎटिस है ।एक डॉक्टर के नाते मुझे कई बार दिन भर खड़े होकर ऑपरेशन आदि करना पड़ता है। ऐसे में इस दर्द के कारण काम करना दुभर हो गया था। मैंने लगभग सभी प्रकार के इलाज जैसे योग,व्यायाम,फिज़ियोथेरेपी और यहाँ तक की एडी में स्टेरोईड इंजेक्शन तक लगवाया। परन्तु सब व्यर्थ , स्टेरोईड इंजेक्शन के बाद एक दो माह तक ठीक रहा उसके बाद दर्द वापस आ गया वो भी दुगना होकर। मैं इससे तंग हो अवसादग्रस्त होने की दशा में आ गयी थी। मैं और मेरे पति रोज़ प्लान्टर फ़ेशाऎटिस के बारे में और इसके सभी संभावित ईलाजों के बारे में इंटरनेट आदि पर खोजबीन करते रहते। एक दिन हमें ESWT की जानकारी मिली और विस्तृत रूप से पढ़ने के बाद हमने डॉ.शाह से सम्पर्क किया। उन्होंने हमें ESWT के बारे में विस्तार से समझाया और मेरे अंदर आत्मविश्वास पुनः उत्पन्न किया। फिर मैंने अहमदाबाद जाकर ESWT करवाई । एक सिटिंग के बाद करीब 3 माह बाद मेरा दर्द 20 % कम हुआ। इसके साथ ही मैंने सॉफ्ट सोल की चप्पल और जूते के अन्दर जेल इन्सोल लगाकर इस्तेमाल किये। फिर दर्द कम ज्यादा होने की साईकल कई माह तक चलती रही एवं हर बार दर्द थोडा थोडा कम होता गया। अब करीब 1 साल बाद मेरा दर्द पूरी तरह चला गया है और मैं अपने सभी काम सुचारू रूप से कर सकती हूँ। मैं डॉ.श्रेणिक शाह को धन्यवाद देती हूँ की वो ESWT सेंटर के द्वारा लोगों का बिना सर्जरी इलाज कर रहे हैं और उनको इसके प्रति जागरूक कर रहे हैं। मैं अपने जैसे अन्य लोगों से अनुरोध करती हूँ की किसी प्रकार का स्टेरोईड इंजेक्शन या सर्जरी करवाने से पूर्व कम से कम एक बार ESWT जरूर करवाएं , हो सकता है कि आपका दर्द एक सिटिंग में ही चला जाये। पर हाँ ध्यान रहे की इसमें समय लगता है अतः जल्दी निराश न होवें , मुझे 1 साल लगा ठीक होने में। डॉ.श्रेणिक शाह को पुनः धन्यवाद सहित, भवदीय, डॉ.मीनाक्षी आर्य एवं प्रकाश आर्य

I was shattered when i came to know that i had Avascular necrosis of head of femur and took various opinions and was confused. I had no options but surgery and then Dr Shrenik came to my rescue and suggessted ESWT. Well after first sitting I had some pain but started recovering and soon could go my clinic and was back to my routine. I had 2nd sitting after about 6 months and was able to travel to Australia to be with my son. I am able to stand , walk and do all other activities. I then wanted to go to Egypt in a conducted tour and so under went 3rd sitting to expedite healing. I am extremely happy and can do all Yoga postures and pranayam too.
